 1. Identify Your Top 3 Time-Wasters: Where are you losing hours with little return? Cut back or eliminate.

2. Drop the Script: Ditch the hard pitch. Make it about connection and see how your prospects respond.

3. Assess Your Time Investment: Look at your current opportunities and evaluate the time each one demands. Are they worth it?

4. Consistent Tracking = Consistent Growth: The more you measure, the more you can improve.

Can H2B Employees Take Advantage of WOTC?

Yes, they can be screened, and do qualify for WOTC.

The Workers Opportunity Tax Credit is a collection of qualifiers.

Several of the qualifiers a H2B candidate could not meet the criteria for (i.e.: they cannot be recipients of SNAP or TANF, so therefore wouldn't meet that area of qualification for WOTC), however, there are several categories H2B employees may still fall under (i.e.: credits based on where they live, age, or having an address in a Designated Community Resident category).

YourWotc.com takes care of all of that for you!!

Isn't My CPA Already Taking Care of WOTC?

Many companies think their CPA or payroll company are already taking care of this for them.  Each month we work with over a thousand new companies, from our experience the vast majority of companies are either not taking these types of tax incentives at all, or they are taking only small fractions of what is available.

If you are not completing a form 8850 with each and every new person you consider for employment, you are not taking advantage of this Tax Credit.   This process is more operational then it is accounting based.  Because most CPA's and even payroll companies are not involved in your interviewing and candidate process it's rare that this is being taken advantage of.

4 Challenges to Conquer Today

Write Down Affirmations: Take five minutes to jot down statements that make you feel strong. Post them where you’ll see them every day.

Give Yourself Credit: List three things you’ve done well recently, no matter how small. This practice will remind you of your wins and shift your mindset.

Catch Your Negative Self-Talk: Notice the words you say to yourself today. Every time you catch a negative thought, flip it into something positive.

Connect with a Positive Influence: Find someone who inspires you. Spend some time with them, and let their positive energy lift you up.

4 Things Learned

Productivity Doesn’t Mean Profitability:
Just because you’re getting a lot done doesn’t mean it’s adding to the bottom line. Aim for effectiveness over busyness.

Burnout is Real—and it’s Costly: Constant hustling leads to burnout, which drains your energy and productivity. Smart work keeps you in the game longer.

Delegate the Small Stuff: Stop doing it all yourself. Offload tasks that don’t require your attention to free up time for big-picture moves.

  1. Define Your Priorities: Without clear priorities, you end up filling time instead of moving forward. Know your top goals and keep your eyes on them.

  2. Are you grinding non-stop but not seeing your bank account grow? You’re not alone. Being busy doesn’t mean you’re making money—and most people confuse a packed schedule with progress. Your calendar may be full, but how much of that activity is actually putting cash in your pocket?
