Why should I use Hashtags and Tags?

They are powerful tools for increasing visibility and engagement on social media. Here are some reasons why you should use them:

Hashtags

  1. Discoverability: Hashtags make your content discoverable to a broader audience who are interested in the same topics. For example, using #TechInnovation can attract users interested in technology.

  2. Categorization: They help categorize your content, making it easier for users to find posts related to specific themes or events.

  3. Trending Topics: Using trending hashtags can help your content join larger conversations and reach more people.  #sustainablefinance

  4. Community Engagement: Hashtags can connect you with communities and groups that share similar interests, fostering engagement and interaction.

Tags

  1. Attribution: Tagging collaborators, partners, or featured individuals gives credit where it's due and can increase their willingness to share your content.

  2. Expanded Reach: When you tag other users or brands, your post appears on their profiles, potentially reaching their followers as well.

  3. Increased Engagement: Tagging relevant accounts can lead to more likes, comments, and shares, as the tagged accounts and their followers are more likely to engage with your content.

  4. Brand Awareness: Tags help build relationships with other users and brands, increasing your visibility and credibility.

Best Practices

  • Relevance: Use hashtags and tags that are relevant to your content to ensure they attract the right audience.

  • Moderation: Avoid overloading your posts with too many hashtags or tags. A few well-chosen ones can be more effective.

  • Research: Look for popular and trending hashtags related to your niche to maximize your reach.

Finding a niche

Not everything is suitable for a lot of businesses. “Not all businesses want a certain – there are some industries and certain-sized companies for whom your service won’t be necessary.

Microbusinesses just don’t have that many requirements, while larger businesses always had an internal finance team.

Some need a wider range of services than other industries but usually didn’t have the capital to hire a full-time finance team.

Once you see something in black and white it becomes much easier to see that winning the right client is more important than winning lots of clients regardless of their size/sector/needs.

Your biggest limitation—is sitting right between your ears.

Your mindset is either propelling you forward or holding you back. Most of us
are working with broken beliefs and habits without even realizing it.

That constant self-doubt?
The distraction loop that eats your time?
Those quiet “what if I fail” thoughts that creep in at 2 a.m.?

Those aren’t harmless—they’re sabotaging your success.

But here’s the thing successful people know that most people overlook: You don’t need everything figured out. You just need to own your mindset!!

What separates the winners from the quitters?!?

  1. Action Over Perfection

You don’t need a perfect plan—you need a starting point. Start messy. Start scared. Just start.

  2. Consistency Beats Motivation
You’re not always going to feel like it. Do it anyway. Show up daily, and the results will compound.

  3. Get in the Right Vehicle
Are you in the right business to hit your goals? If your goals feel impossible, it might be time for a pivot.

  4. Think Bigger
Whatever you’re aiming for—add a zero. Success requires stretching beyond your comfort zone.

Degrees are nice-to-haves. Skills are must-haves.

The entrepreneurs building empires, the leaders making moves—they’re not waiting for permission or validation. They’re sharpening their skills, proving their value, and delivering outcomes that make people sit up and take notice.

Now here’s the kicker: The gap between where you are and where you want to be isn’t credentials—it’s capability.

  1. Fail fast, learn faster. Skills come from doing, not thinking about doing.

  2. Commit to growth. Every day is a chance to sharpen your edge. Don’t waste it.

  3. Results matter most. Nobody cares how hard you worked if you can’t deliver.

Are you stuck thinking: I need more experience. I need more time.
Let me stop you right there.

Action creates experience. Progress takes time. But sitting still? That’s just regret waiting to happen.

Every day, you’re either adding to your skillset or watching your opportunities shrink. Which will it be?

Take action now
